- There are no playing time rules with the Butler Couty Youth Football League, but the Wolfpack has established the following guidelines for its coaches: Players qualify for preferred positions based on skill/physical play, attitude, effort and attendance. All players must be trained to play offense and defense, even if they don't play on both sides during games.
- Coaches should familiarize themselves with first aid techniques. All bloody injuiries and body fluid accidents must be cleaned up and covered before participation resumes. Coaches must communicate with parents about any injury causing the child to sit out of practice or a game.
- Coaches should always include another coach when approached by a parent to talk about their child's performance and/or participation. If a supporter (i.e. parent) of a player interferes with coaching during a game, that player will be immediately pulled out of the game for the rest of the quarter and will not return until the disturbance ends. Further disturbances could result in the player being suspended.

- The Miami Valley Wolfpack maintains a philosphy that winning games is a priority, but not the only prioirty. The pursuit of winning should result from a team oriented effort where the individual players and coaches strive to use their given talents to ultimately glorify God.
